MICROCOSMOS
In the midst of a global pandemic, it's impossible for me to travel freely and shoot in my usual remote locations. This problem lead me to the fun idea of creating a miniature world by subverting my sense of scale, photographing a model car in my immediate environment. In this world, blades of grass become 20 foot high bushes, a garden bench a towering flyover, and tiny flying bugs grow to the size of cats. Suddenly, the inconspicuous elements of my surroundings take on a whole new meaning, and conjure a new undiscovered world for a tiny explorer during lockdown.
